Celoxica Tour of Universities |

After my visit to Celoxica in October they subsequently (recently) invited to join them on their university tour [»]. They offered to pay my travel and subsistence expenses and to donate some Celoxica kit to SBU in return for my compiling a set of visit reports. I was delighted by this offer since it meant that I would get to visit a lot more universities, some further afield, and no doubt gain valuable new insights.
This means of course that I will be spending most of my time between now and the end of my sabbatical on things other than I had envisaged in my midpoint reflections. We are due to visit ten institutions altogether on the tour, mostly in the Tokyo area but also in the Osaka area and further west...
