Monday 10th November, 2008. We held the third meeting of the Faculty Website Steering Group last week. In preparation for that I put together a rough prototype, which we discussed at some length. We also looked at and shared opinions about a number of other comparable websites. After the meeting I then implemented some of the changes and added some of the features that we had agreed upon. So here is what I'm going to call the first prototype, which just consists of three screenshots: Incidentally, I found the image of the jumping girl (in the home page screenshot) after browsing through some royalty-free stock photos on the web. I'm not suggesting that we should use that image in our home page; I was just looking for something suitable and interesting to put there.
