Google Calendar events display 3 hours later in Safari/Mac

I posted this within Google Groups...
We're using an embedded calendar within our (password protected)
intranet site, which I've also posted here for all to see --
http://www.mebush.net/googlecalendar-test/
-- but it displays different event timings when using Safari and
Firefox/Camino running on the same Mac (hence using the same time zone
and time format settings). The Safari timings are consistently 3 hours
too late. I was hoping that this problem would disappear when the
problems that others have reported have been fixed, but it hasn't.
It's fine when using Windows/Safari though. Could this be a Mac/Safari
bug?

An equally puzzling but less worrisome feature is that the weeks are
shown as beginning on a Monday when using Safari and Firefox but on a
Sunday when using Camino!

I would greatly appreciate any feedback.

Martin.
...and much to my amazement it looks as though the issue has been been taken up by Google themselves.
