I recently re-worked the CGCM banner to demonstrate my proposal for what BCIM "sub-sites" could look like, and this inspired me to re-think the BCIM banner. I'm not all particularly fond of the banner text that we have at the moment, although I do think it's an improvement over the original one. I spent a couple of hours playing around with some ideas, and created the alternatives shown below (the first is the banner that we have at the moment).

I showed the third one (my favourite) to Geoff E. and Roger S. today, but they both said that they preferred the original!
