James, Mike and I have been working steadily on getting the site ready, but we have been held back by a lack of response from some of the Programme Directors and Heads of Depts (who are no doubt overloaded with work themselves). Geoff has said that we should launch the site over the Easter break anyway, even if there are a few blank pages still left in it.

John H. has finally finished off the corporate staff home pages, apart from a number of relatively minor faults that he still has to fix. Once the remaining faults have been fixed I will email all staff to ask them check and update their entries.

We still have quite a few things left to do before the launch, including:

• finalising the list of Faculty research centres (it seems that there is some uncertainty about this!), and creating new pages for any centres that don't have their own websites
   
• re-working the Faculty Structure Chart so that it shows the correct research centres
   
• re-working the structure chart slices within the individual Dept pages
   
• creating pages that list all of the Faculty's undergraduate courses and all of its postgraduate courses
   
• creating a site map
   
• creating pages for the remaining Departments and Programmes when we receive the appropriate input from the HoDepts and Prog Dirs
