This is just to let you know that I have (finally) written a new version of my 
Web Page Expiry Checker. I started from scratch and re-wrote it in PHP4, using 
XML. The new version is better than the old version in several ways.

Can you please update this page accordingly:

The new scripts are available for downloading from here (see bottom of page):

  http://myweb.lsbu.ac.uk/~bushm/misc/other.html

Do you know whether any of the other Faculties/Depts have started using it? 
Presumably "copyleft" is appropriate for any software that we write, right?

p.s. The new version can sit alongside the old version, so moving from the old 
to the new isn't a problem; it's up to each web page which version to invoke.

I've written the development of this up in a separate blog (which I hope to use as an example for students).
